Legal Studies Minor

The legal studies minor is designed for students who wish to pursue a law degree after completion of their undergraduate degree.

The minor requires a minimum of 18 SH of specified courses with grades of “C” or better in all of those courses.

  • BLA 2325 - Business Law I 
  • BLA 2327 - Business Law II
  • PHI 2303 - Introduction to Logic

Three Hours

  • JUS 3337 - Court Procedure & Evidence or
  • POS 3355 - Criminal Law or
  • JUS 3355 - Criminal Law or
  • MCM 3301 - Law and Ethics of Mass Communications

Three Hours

  • JUS 4369 - Constitutional Law or
  • POS 4369 - Constitutional Law or
  • ECO 3330 - Law and Economics or
  • ECO 3331 - Economics of Crime, Corruption and Terrorism

Three Hours

  • SPH 3360 - Argumentation and Debate or
  • ENG 3302 - Advanced Composition
