The program of study for the Birth-Kindergarten Education minor consists of a minimum of 21 semester hours. This program does not qualify the student for initial teacher licensure in North Carolina. Hours completed, however, may be used to satisfy requirements in an approved program. Consult your advisor.

This new track represents an articulation agreement between Piedmont International University (PIU) and Winston-Salem State University (WSSU). This articulation agreement will allow students from PIU to seamlessly transfer into the Elementary Education program.
