CERTIFICATE IN DATA ANALYTICS
The Certificate in Data Analytics, a post-baccalaureate program, is designed for those in health care fields, computer science, business, education, and other fields. The certificate program is open only to individuals who have earned the BS or BA degree (in any field). The program is online and requires 12 semester hours.
Data Analytics refers to qualitative and quantitative techniques and processes used to enhance productivity and informed decision making in health care, manufacturing, insurance, technology, and a wide range of industries. Techniques vary and include the design, development, adoption and application of IT-based methods in data extraction, identification, categorization, pattern recognition and analysis.

CST 6314 - Big Data Analytics
Career Opportunities
Students completing this program will be qualified as entry-level data analysts and courses will also satisfy concentration electives for the MS in Computer Science and Information Technology (MCST).
