Management Information Systems Minor

Objectives

  1. Introduce students to the basic concepts of information technology.
  2. Introduce students to the various components of information systems.
  3. Prepare students to participate in the development and support of comprehensive information systems.

The program of study for a minor in MIS requires the completion of the following 18 semester hours of course work with grades of “C-” or better:

MIS 2312 - Internet Technology    

MIS 2320 - Structured System Building

MIS 4322 - Global Electronic Commerce   

MIS 4330 - Current Topics in Project Management
