Philosophy Minor

A minimum of 18 semester hours in Philosophy is required to complete the minor.  The 18 hours must include the following:

PHI 2301 - Introduction to Philosophy   

PHI 2303 - Introduction to Logic   

PHI 3310 - History of Philosophy   

PHI 3307 - Philosophy of Religion  or PHI 3305 - Ethical Theory   

PHI 3312 - Introduction to Political Philosophy  or PHI 3302 - Philosophy of Science , and

3 hours of Philosophy elective

PHI 2301 - Introduction to Philosophy  is a prerequisite for all upper division courses and students must earn a C or higher in the eighteen hours of course work that constitute the minor.
