Music Business Minor

Program Description

This minor is open to any student in the university and is designed to enhance career opportunities, to offer opportunities for literacy in the fields of music, business, and communications, and to serve the interests of the students. A minimum of 21 semester hours is required.

• MUS 3302 - Overview of the Music Industry Credits: 3 hrs
• MUS 3305 - Survey of Contemporary Popular Music (fall only) Credits: 3 hrs
• MUS 3310 - Electronic Music Credits: 3 hrs
• ECO 2311 - Principles of Microeconomics Credits: 3 hrs
• MGT 2321 - Principles of Management Credits: 3 hrs
• Approved Music Elective Credits / Units: 3
