Philosophy Minor

Program Description

A minimum of 18 semester hours in Philosophy is required to complete the minor. The 18 hours must include the following:

PHI 2301 - Introduction to Philosophy Credits: 3 hrs
PHI 2303 - Introduction to Logic Credits: 3 hrs
PHI 3310 - History of Philosophy Credits: 3 hrs
PHI 3307 - Philosophy of Religion Credits: 3 hrs
or
PHI 3305 - Ethical Theory Credits: 3 hrs
PHI 3312 - Introduction to Political Philosophy Credits: 3 hrs
or
PHI 3302 - Philosophy of Science Credits: 3 hrs
3 hours of Philosophy elective
PHI 2301 - Introduction to Philosophy is a prerequisite for all upper division courses and students must earn a C or higher in the eighteen hours of course work that constitute the minor.
