BIO 3334 - Molecular Biology and Biotechniques I

Credits: 3 hrs

 

This laboratory course provides detailed instructions on the performance of many methods and techniques used in traditional biotechnology industries. Acceptable laboratory practices are discussed. Biochemical and recombinant DNA technologies are emphasized. (Two three-hour laboratory periods per week) Prerequisite(s): BIO 2301; BIO 1315; BIO 3147; BIO 3347; Scientific Writing; CHE 2112; and CHE 2312. Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better.
