MGT 4348 - Human Resource Management and Employment Law

Credits: 3 hrs
This course introduces Human Resource Management and provides a detailed discussion of Federal Employment Law, you will be required to learn about the employment relationship – who is an employee and who is not, what employment at will means, etc. – as well as a general understanding of the eight functional areas of human resource management. In addition, this course will expose students to the area of Risk Management, which constitutes 7% of the HRCI Certification Exam. Prerequisite(s): MGT 3321.
