NUR 2310 - Introduction to Professional Nursing I

Credits: 3 hrs
This course introduces the nursing profession, the nursing process and concepts basic to professional nursing practice. Emphasis is on exploring the roles of the nurse and the basic needs of individuals in maintaining a state of wellness. Selected nursing skills are introduced through laboratory experiences. Prerequisite(s): CHE 1311 and CHE Lab 1111, BIO 1331 and BIO Lab 1131, BIO 2311, BIO 2312.
