NUR 3203 - Gerontological Nursing

Credits: 2 hrs
This course focuses on principles and concepts related to gerontological nursing. Emphasis is on roles and functions of the nurse in meeting the needs of elderly clients who are well and those with functional pathological health alterations. Social, economic, legal, and ethical issues in maintaining and promoting wellness and safety are examined. Prerequisite(s): NUR 3210 and Admission to Upper Division or special permission.
