BIO 4323 - Immunology

Credits: 3 hrs.
Functions of the immune system are defined in this senior-level course. The cells, tissues and organs that perform these functions are identified. The mechanisms through which the immune system performs its functions are considered. (Three one-hour lecture periods per week) Prerequisite(s): BIO 2301, BIO 3231,CHE 3126 and CHE 3326: BIO 3346 is strongly recommended.
