ENG 1302 - Freshman Composition IICredits: 3 hrs. Freshman Composition II focuses on the application of rhetorical and linguistic principles introduced in Freshman Composition I. Works from various literary genres, as well as modules on films and popular culture will be utilized in a substantial number of writing assignments. Students use composes extensively on computer, including completing the common examination in the university computer labs. Note: Placement in this writing course depends on the student’s level of proficiency as measured by a departmental examination. General Education Course that Satisfies SLO: Written Communication; AK:Other (Three periods per week.) Prerequisite(s): one written communication course
