NUR 1303 - Talk the Talk in Health Care

Credits: 3 hrs
This introduction to professional nursing course will focus on academic skills, personal and professional development and university-related resources specific to successful matriculation in the nursing major. The course will explore the role of the nurse as professional and address health care systems concepts, self-awareness, values clarification, communication and critical reasoning. Prerequisite(s): Freshmen interested in nursing as a major or permission of course faculty.
