NUR 2313 - Foundations for Professional Practice in Healthcare

Credits: 3 hrs
This course introduces students to the nursing profession, the nursing process and concepts basic to professional nursing practice. Emphasis is on exploring the roles of the nurse and the basic needs of individuals in maintaining a state of wellness. Basic nursing skills are introduced through laboratory experiences.
