PHY 3334 - Optics

Credits: 3 hrs

This is an intermediate optics course, which focuses on physical and geometrical optics, propagation of light and its interaction with matter, polarization, interference, and diffraction. Optical components such as lenses, mirrors, prisms, fiber optics, spectrometers, and interferometers will be discussed. Prerequisite(s): PHY 2322, PHY 2122, or PHY 3332, PHY 3132.
