PHY 3336 - Electricity & Magnetism IICredits: 3 hrs This is the second course at the intermediate level in electricity and magnetism, one of the well-established core areas of Physics. It provides an in-depth study of magnetism, electrodynamics and electromagnetic waves, at a level necessary for a physics major/ minor, building on the material introduced in Electricity & Magnetism I. (Three one-hour lectures per week.) Prerequisite(s): PHY 3335.
