JUS 3345 - Strategic Approaches to Community Safety Credits: 3 hrs This course examines the theory and practice of strategic, comprehensive, data-based efforts to address current community justice issues. The course will explore methods of community organizing and partnership development; help students develop problem-solving techniques, employing insights from research and practice; and engage students in discussions of how to sustain community-based initiatives related to community justice issues. Pre-requisite(s): JUS 2301 , POS 2311 & SOC 2301
