HIS 2307 - United States History from 1865 to the Present Credits: 3 hrs In this course, emphasis is placed on the political, constitutional, economic and social problems resulting from Reconstruction and the rise of “Big Business,” the emergence of the United States as a world power, World War I, prosperity, the Depression and the New Deal, the Second World War, and the position of the United States in the contemporary world community.
