SPA 2312 - Intermediate Spanish II Credits: 3 hrs SPA 2312 continues the reinforcement of Spanish language learning with greater emphasis placed on the development of oral proficiency, reading, writing, and listening skills. Class time will be dedicated to grammar review, free and guided exercises in conversation and composition, and listening comprehension. Discussions of topics on Spanish-speaking societies and cultures will be an integral part of the course, as well as the introduction to key texts in Spanish literature. Students will be required to complete a final project for the course.
SPA 2312 is recommended for students who have the equivalent of three or four years of high school Spanish. This course prepares students for the Spanish minor or major. Offered Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Pre-requisite(s): passing SPA 2311 with a C- or better, Retroactive Credit Policy, permission of department, or assignment by placement examination.
