   |  CHE 1314 - General Chemistry II   Credits: 3 hrsA continuation of General Chemistry I, this portion of the course covers the study of gases, properties of solutions, chemical kinetics and equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry.  Emphasis is placed on the use of critical thinking skills and problem solving techniques for complex chemical applications.
 Periods Per week: Three one-hour lecture periods per week
 Pre-requisite(s): “C-” or better in CHE 1313 - General Chemistry I
 Corequisite(s): CHE 1114 - General Chemistry II Laboratory
