BIO 3366 - Genetics Credits: 3 hrs. This course examines basic concepts of prokaryotic and eukaryotic genetics. Mechanisms underlying organization, transmission, expression and variation of genetic material are presented on selected topics. Mendelian inheritance, linkage, mapping and mutation are discussed. Three hours of lecture and one hour of recitation per week.
Pre-requisite(s): C- or better in BIO 1313 - General Biology I and BIO 1314 - General Biology II Latest Update(s) Approved by Academic Standards and Curriculum: September 2021
