BIO 3336 - Developmental Biology Credits: 3 hrs This course examines the morphological, molecular and evolutionary aspects of animal development from a comparative perspective. Topics include gametogenesis, fertilization, morphogenesis, pattern formation, cell-cell signals, induction and regulation of gene expression and evolutionary embryology. Current topics such as stem cells and cloning will also be explored.
