SOC 2301 - General SociologyCredits: 3 hrs This course introduces the student to the perspectives and methods of sociology, which is the systematic study of human society and social behavior. It explores the social forces that influence human relationships and the connections between personal experiences and societal patterns. Topics include different perspectives on social life, interpersonal interaction, social structure, culture, deviance, inequality, social institutions, and social change.
