PED 4340 - Clinical Experiences in Sports Medicine - Advanced

Credits: 3 hrs
This course will provide supervised clinical experiences in the application of Athletic Training techniques. This course allows the students to gain 100 documented clinical hours with a National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board Certified Athletic Trainer. Clinical hours will emphasize advanced techniques in the acute care of injuries and illnesses, orthopedic assessment, and risk management and injury prevention. Students will be required to complete a minimum of 225 hours total between the three clinical courses.
