NUR 3512 - Adult Health Nursing I

Credits: 5 hrs
This course focuses on the nursing and interprofessional collaboration care of adults with selected health alteration that require medical and/or surgical interventions.  Emphasis is on the application of the nursing process and clinical judgment measurement model to effectively manage the care of adults with acute and chronic health conditions.  In this course, students will expand their knowledge of client care management, delegation, and prioritization of care.
Pre-requisite(s): NUR 3312 - Health Assessment NUR 3314 - Clinical Nursing Foundations NUR 3215 - Clinical Nursing Foundations Practicum NUR 3316 - Pharmacology for Nurses , and Admission to Upper Division.
