EXS 4612 - Internship Credits: 9 - 12 hrs This is the capstone experience of the Exercise Science Program. This course will include an extended experience with an agency, facility, or program involved in Exercise Physiology. The student will work under the direct supervision of a professional on site. The semester prior to enrolling for the actual course, the student will meet with Clinical Coordinator of the Exercise Science program to determine a proper site that may include Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Strength & Conditioning, Corporate & Community Health, or a variety of other settings. The course also requires the completion of the Exercise Science Senior Exam. Pre-requisite(s): Permission of instructor to enroll (Minimum grade of C) EXS 4334 - Science of Resistance Training AND EXS 4319 - Exercise Testing and Prescription AND EXS 4302 - Clinical Exercise Physiology Latest Update(s) Approved by Academic Standards and Curriculum: Spring 2023
