NUR 3513 - Adult Health Nursing 1 Practicum Credits: 5 hrs This course focuses on the evidence-informed care of adult and older adult clients with health alterations that require medical and/or surgical intervention. Emphasis is placed on the care management of clients with acute and chronic health conditions using a holistic nursing framework. Select psychomotor nursing skills needed to manage care within an acute care environment are introduced. Clinical experiences are coordinated in a variety of settings which offer students the opportunity to engage with clients and interact with interprofessional teams.
