SPA 33XX - Spanish for Professionals II

Credits: 3 hrs

This is the second course in an intermediate-level two-course sequence in Spanish for the professions. Students will develop oral and written communication skills, as well as knowledge of cultures with particular attention to workplace-related vocabulary, concepts, and situations. The course will be taught at the intermediate or advanced levels depending on students’ status and proficiency. In conjunction with the instructor and the office of career development services, students will select a site in the community to complete a field experience for a minimum of 10 hours.
Pre-requisite(s): Two intermediate Spanish courses:

SPA 2321 - Spanish for the Professions I or SPA 2309 - Intermediate Spanish Conversation or SPA 2311 - Intermediate Spanish I or SPA 2312 - Intermediate Spanish II or permission of the department
