CHE 2326 - Organic Chemistry I Credits: 3 hrs The study of carbon compounds and their derivatives. The structure, nomenclature, preparation, and chemical and physical properties of alkanes, alkenes, alkynes alkyl halides, and alcohols are emphasized. In addition, the foundations of IR and NMR spectroscopies are introduced.
