BUA 2350 - Fundamentals of International Business Credits: 3 hrs This course is an overview of international business. Topics addressed include theories of international trade, foreign direct investment, evolution of the international monetary systems, balance of payments, international institutions such as WTO, IMF, OECD, OPEC, regional economic integrations such as NAFTA and EU, big emerging markets, currency regimes and exchange rates, political, legal, cultural, social, economic and technological dimensions of the international business environment, overview of entry modes such as exporting, licensing, franchising, joint venturing and outsourcing and future of the international business.
