CMS 4370 - Contemporary Issues/Advertising Credits: 3 hrs This course examines social, economic, cultural and political issues relating to media advertising, government and self-regulation, race, gender and class, advertiser and sponsor influence on program content, and analysis of channels used. Pertinent problems are critiqued.
