The business minor is designed for those students who are majoring in a discipline outside the School of Business and Economics but who are interested in taking business courses. It gives such students a broad-based introduction to the six major fields in the business school that are necessary for managerial success. These fields are: accounting, economics, finance, management, management information systems, and marketing.
The minor requires a minimum of 18 SH of specified courses with grades of “C” or better in all of those courses

OR ECO 2312 – Principles of Macroeconomics
FIN 3357 – Personal Financial Planning
MGT 3321 – Principles of Management (prereq. Junior Standing and ENG 1301)
MIS 3330 – Information System Concepts (prereq BCO 2311 with a “C” or higher)
MKT 3331 – Principles of Marketing (prereq. BCO 2311)
