NUR 6303 - Research in Advanced Nursing Practice

Credits: 3 hrs
This course focuses on research foundations of advanced nursing practice; the use of descriptive and inferential statistics; qualitative and quantitative research methods; and application and utilization of research related to advance nursing practice. The course provides an overview of information relevant to the use of computer technology in nursing research. The course provides experience with computer packages including: preparing and entering data for statistical analysis; using spreadsheets for data entry and transfer to statistical software; data analysis; and report writing.
