MGT 4338 - Organizational Staffing Credits: 3 hrs This course provides a detailed examination of organizational staffing practices with an emphasis on knowledge relevant for practicing managers. Students will be exposed to the legal issues related to human resource management (HRM) staffing. Theoretical perspectives and practical issues in HR staffing will be included in course content. Topics may include strategic staffing, staffing strategies, job analysis, competency modeling, forecasting, internal and external recruiting, interviewing, measurement, employee assessment, selection, hiring, managing work force flow, retention, and staffing evaluation.
