The Data Science Minor program serves students from all academic disciplines and seeks to provide computer literacy and competence to enhance career opportunities within one’s discipline. The data science minor requires 18 semester hours: two foundation courses (6 Cr.) in Data Science, one foundation course in Statistics (3 Cr.) and any 9 credits worth of courses from the approved list of courses or other courses as approved by the Minor in Data Science Program Coordinator. Students must earn a C or higher in the eighteen hours of course work that constitute a minor.
