Computer Science Minor

Program Description

The computer science minor program serves students from all academic disciplines and seeks to provide computer literacy and competence to enhance career opportunities within one’s discipline. The computer science minor requires 19 hours of computer science beyond CSC 1306 -The Computer and its Use I .

• CSC 1310 - Computer Programming I Credits: 3 hrs
• CSC 1311 - Computer Programming II Credits: 3 hrs

• CSC 21xx (Computer Science Lab)

• CSC 2331 - Data Structures Credits: 3 hrs

• CSC 23xx (Programming Language or CSC 2310 -Introduction to Computer Software Systems ) 

• CSC 3355 - Principles of Database Management Credits: 3 hrs.
